Quite often there is a desire to service "A" customers faster then "B" or "C" customers. The "A" customer may be the largest or most demanding so it makes sense for the business to reserve capacity for those customer types. LoadIT allows the organization to easily and simply implement this strategy. Capacity is broken down by resource into individual buckets per day. Each bucket is assigned to a customer group and in turn each customer is assigned to a group.
Rules determine how these buckets are booked. For example, an A customer might be able to use capacity assigned to a B customer. However a B customer cannot use capacity belonging to an A customer. Then there are times when B customers should use A reserved capacity. For example, if a last minute order comes in from a B customer and A has not used all of the capacity then the order will be booked using A's reserved capacity.
Sound confusing? Well, it's really not difficult by using OP. Once setup the parameters are reviewed periodically to balance demand by customer group. Otherwise, orders are entered and the system takes care of the rest.LoadIT makes rush customer orders routine business!
